Joe's follow-up appointment

It's been two weeks since Joe's surgery so today was his scheduled post-op appointment. Dr Shapiro explained to him that he has a "substantial tear" and that due to the sharp pains he is still experiencing he will not be released to go back to work for another two weeks. He is to schedule another appointment if the pain persists. Now, if I can just keep him down so he can properly heal would be a miracle.

Dad~
You have got to do what the Doc asks you too do. It is better that you are down for two weeks verses the rest of your life walking around like a gimp like me. Trust me I know! I wish I would have done all the things the doc said to me when I hurt my ancle. It isn't fun walking around hurt forever!
I love you and STAY DOWN!!! That is an order from your daughter...
if I was there I would make sure you mind!

It is hard to do what the doctors say but you have too. I had Mom come out when I had my surgeries to keep me down, I know that she can't come and help you, so stay down and try to enjoy the rest time. How boring I know but you will be glad in the long run I know I am and thank Mom often for her making me stay down.
